As much as I hate to say it, Frumpy has a few good points there.

...And really, we all hunger for news. Any news. Just...something. We busy ourselves with tournaments and whatnot, but considering the level of things in the Suggestions board, we want to know that we're still a part of something, even though it may be fizzling out while we speak.

Makes sense to me.

Frumpy made some extremely valid points. Part of the reason I stopped playing almost a year and a half ago was because nothing was changing. The game got old for me, and now i've come back only to see the same old game. Im kinda pissed, but my opinion doesn't much matter right now since im not paying.

Maybe with some updates, some news, or something, i'll renew my membership. As for now though, Jimmi's missing out on some potential customers by completely ignoring the game.

All points made by Frumpy "Montana Butthole" Jones are completely null and void. He referenced motherfucking Todd Rundgren... so he can shut his fucking mouth.

Jimmi wins, because you fags are still clamoring for the nuu h0tneZZ. Just shut the fuck up.

Hey Frumpy - Todd Rundgren, dude? Go back to the fucking yacht club... your gloryhole is getting cold.

The moderators have no control over the Communique. Only the Qreators themselves can edit/delete/move posts here.

OK? Surprised

I talked to Jimmi, he said "Cool them bitches out and wait for Horseclaw, who sould be arriving DI-RECTLY".

Actually that was someone else. But Todd Rundgren is still a shitty reference and not even remotely relative to the 2K10, 9, 8, 7, etc.

Lots of questions, no answers. From me anyways. I just read through all of the posts now, while waiting in the Seattle airport. I just arrived. Let me try to answer many from my phone, bad grammar intact.

I agree it is shitty to take donations from people and not produce a product, worse, travel on said donations. The truth is, those donations did not pay for any of my travel. Those donations did pay for some of my time off the first four months of 2009. That, plus the a few thousand in debt I racked up with credit card advances to remain jobless and work on QRimson. Then I sold my car, complete with QR stickers on the bumper, it was a sweet car, to remain on the project. I'll be honest here; I was going to sell my car either way, cause owning a car in Boston is really retarded, but it helped save more money on insurance and payments. Then I took on freelance. I put some money back into my bills. For the record, freelance is great, and I got really good at doing it. Feel free to check out TypeOrDieGame.com for anti-smoking campaign truth.com.

The freelance came easy, and I stuck with it. It allowed me to have fun, travel, hell, that was the first time I left the country in my 32 years. It made life really fun, and i chose to earn time over money, only working a few days a week.

As for the donations, over half of that are through friends; friends I have made here in Quadradius. Eric Okdeh (Jack luminous) who gave the $500 has become a friend in real life, we hung out, I built his website for him, etc. I don't think he wants his money back, but I didn't ask him. Ronponce I have met in real life as well, and invited him to my bDay party last week (despite him not showing, I think he lives a state away). So I havent heard any resentment from any of the donators themselves. It was great bDay party by the way, and I'll have to show you guys video of what an apartment looks like with almost 3,000 balloons in it. And TLP probably has some other forms of donations I would probably have to turn down.

But yes, I have become a huge slacker, finding enjoyment in other things in life lately, and had some great experiences these last 6 months. But I still have fun ideas for QRimson, and that is what I was waiting to publicly announce, now that I can. This is IN NO WAY A PROMISE, but I am here in Seattle for a week to hang out with Richard Garfield of Magic: The Gathering fame. Most of you know the back story of how he is a fan of Quadradius and plays the game. He is very interested in being a partner in QRimson in some fashion; Financially, resource-wise, direction, promotion, even possibly some other projects. I kept this under wraps, until he spoke of it personally. He has now made mention of it on his site, ThreeDonkeys.com.

So if you donated to the QRimson cause, yes, that help build a pretty decent alpha version back in the first half of 2009 while I lived a very cheap lifestyle. Then I did freelance work for about 5 or so agencies here in Boston, and got a taste for adventure away from programming. I hope to come back to QR development with renewed interest. I look forward to playing and discussing games with Richard Garfield and Psychocide this week in Seattle, being interviewed by RG about QR, and playing some QR face to face. I hope to have a great time hanging out with my Seattle friends. I hope to go back home to Boston next week with a great partnership between Richard and I on QRimson. I think that would be awesome!

Well played Jimmi, good luck to you in the meeting -- let us know how everything unfolds.

Thanks again,
