Organize
I try to not censor anything on here. It is the internet. Wild Wild West, ya know? But I do insist on ORGANIZATION. If I or others can't navigate these pages efficiently, I will have to move your posts to the Scrap Heap. If they derail the topic horribly, or bring up new topics half way through… to the Scrap Heap. I would rather have 10 times as many threads, as long as they were focused.

Long and Detailed Subject Lines
When you start a new post, make a long and detailed Subject line. Try to max out the available space. If you can take the time to make the post, you sure as hell can take the time to think out your subject lines. If I or others can't tell what may be contained in the thread at a glance, then it is wasting time for many people, both new readers and returning posters (not to mention search engines).

Single Idea Per Thread
If you post new power ideas or suggestions, great, but don't put them all in one post/thread, or else people won't respond to your many questions. Make a new thread with a unique subject for each idea. This helps minimize repeated entries all over the place. A good idea will rise to the top and be commented on, and bad idea will fall off the page. Each thread can be focused on the bashing of just one idea or power at a time.

Try to not repeat topics
Oh yeah, and look for repeated entries. I realize this is no wiki, but I am forced to start house cleaning and setting down some ground rules. The previous guidelines above will make it easier to spot what you are looking for, and should minimze the duplicate posts.

Auto Policing
This system should be pretty easy to auto-police. Frequent posters will learn to reply nothing more than a quoting some section from this doctrine and directing the poster here if they see a sloppily thrown together thread. After all, why waste your time in a discussion, knowing me or a mod is just going to come along and Scrap it.

The other players, mods and more importantly, myself, will be able to respond quicker to any posts that follow these simple guidelines. I like coming here a few times a day, but can not sift through it all if it is cluttered. Bashing is still fine; I just want to see organized bashing.

So if your post was moved to the Scrap Heap, it was probably because I am ruling with an iron torus. So try to keep it organized. It is up to you to set the precedence. People will do as you do.

Directly to the Scrap Heap
You can, of course, post directly in the Scrap Heap, saving us trouble of moving things. This is the more welcomed approach. If we have to continually clean up after you, bad things can happen. If you try to make the time for other players, moderators, or myself troublesome here on the Quadboard, we will come back with a 2X.

Thank you,
Jimmi Heiserman
